How to Add Photos or mp3s to Your Palm handheld or its SD CardDiscussion: there are three ways to do this. One is to use the Send To Handheld AppleScript applet as shown here. It's kind of the easier way, but neither is difficult. Another is to add the files via the Install Handheld Files window. I call that installing manually. Both of these methods ultimately use HotSync method. The third method is to transfer files to the SD card by mounting it as a volumn on your hard drive. (I may add info on that here eventually.) |
Drag the desired photo from it's location on your hard drive onto the Send To Handheld AppleScript applet, as shown here.

Click OK. Then perform your HotSync operation at your convenience. |

On your hard drive, you have a folder called Palm. In that is a folder called Users. In there is a folder whose name matches your user name.
