Multimedia:

  • RealOne Mobile Player for Palm
    This player comes pre-installed on the Zire71, but can also be used on other models. This is the direct link to where you download it. This is a free download.

  • Palm™ Tungsten™ T Update helps audio
    If your Tungsten ™T does not play audio files well, this update may help. The update does a few other things too. If you own this model check this out.

  • Kinoma - the video software that comes with the Zire71.
    The Player is a free download. It enables you to view videos on your Palm Handheld.
    Kinoma Producer is the computer-side software that encodes many file formats including QuickTime, MPEG-1, MPEG-4, AVI, MP3, Macromedia Flash, JPEG, Animated GIF and PNG. You can download Kinoma Producer for free. It's a limited feature, 2 day trial. Later, for $29.99 you can purchase a serial number to unlock all features.
    Kinoma works with: the Zire™ 71, Tungsten™ C, Tungsten™ T2, and Tungsten™ T. It requires 500KB free space on the handheld.

Printing:

  • PrintBoy by Bachmann Software
    A copy of PrintBoy Standard Edition is included with the Tungsten C handheld, and can be installed from the Software Essentials CD that came with the Tungsten C package.

    Once you have installed PrintBoy, you'll be able to print Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, E-mail and more from your Tungsten C handheld! PrintBoy can print to shared network printers using the Tungsten C's Wi-Fi connection, or you can even use Infrared or Bluetooth!
  • ID Complete for printing via Infared (IR) or Bluetooth. They also make a bunch of games.

  • ACT! for Palm (30 day free trial available)
  • Do you have a pre-OS 5.2.1 Palm Handheld and want the benefits of Graffiti 2? The answer is Jot. It works with OS 3.5x, 4.x and 5.0. There's a 5 day free trial. You can get Jot as a bundle, JotComplete.
