Memo Pad or Note Pad — the button dilemma

My dilemma: I love the Note Pad because I can write my note in my own handwriting and also draw images. But I rely heavily on the Memo Pad as well.

My solution: A freeware called TiggleToggle Lite 1.3. This brilliant app lets you toggle between the two apps each time you press the Note Pad key. It's got more options as well.

There's also a fuller featured version called Tiggle Toggle Pro. It's just $4.95 and lets each button do double duty. That's particularly helpful on the Tungsten C and W, which give up 2 buttons to the Browser and Email.

How you can use it:

  • On a Zire 71, use TiggleToggle Lite to go between my Memo and Note Pads. Or use Pro to easily launch many other apps.
  • On my own Tungsten C, I use TiggleToggle Pro and set my Date Book button to toggle between the Memo Pad and set my Address Book button to toggle between the Note Pad. I have my VersaMail button going to Documents To Go as well. And my Web Browser button brings up my Photos on alternate hits.

NOTE: VersaMail is not known to this app. Choosing MultiMail brings up your mail.
