Deb's Party for Everyone during Macworld Expo
Author Deb Shadovitz,
with the help of some really cool vendors have a great party for you...
If you're attending Macworld Expo, you're invited to join us at 8pm...
In 2003 I produced my first big Macworld Expo party, finally creating an opportunity for all expo attendees to enjoy a great Macworld Expo party; — to give them a chance to meet and socialize without missing show-floor or seminar time. It was, and remains, ticket-free so everyone who wants to, can attend. Entertainment is acoustic music so you can talk. There have always been great prizes and food too, thanks to our sponsors.
- The first year I did this I invited Scott Sheppard to join me and called it the Party For The People. Lorene Romero, who worked for Scott at the time, was fantastic, bringing her sponsors on board.
- The 2nd & 3rd years I did it on my own, keeping the name with Scott's permission.
- This year, 2007, I have the great partnership of Adam Christianson, having met him because of his excellent podcast, MacCast. He's terrific to work with and we're looking forward to a great party. Adam has the info on his site, so I'm sending you there to learn about it for now.
To Attend
Just show up — wearing your show badge. Seriously. We really need you to wear it.
The next party — Mac Mingle will be Thursday, January 17, 2008 starting at 8pm.
